Have you tried ACL or Clevite bearings?
I know there are many that have not experienced issues with King bearings and will vouch for them.
Due to the issues, others and I have experienced with King bearings, I have not used them since 2017. My "to go" bearings are ACL, Clevite, and when I can find them, Speed Pro. In 2017, we had issues with several Trophy Truck engines with King Bearings. Switched to Clevite and ACL and no more issues.
