Congratulations on your HP reduction. Just being curious, I looked up the 68 and 69 396 350 combos, and line for line, they appear to be identical engines. The 68 and 69 Chevelle body is almost an identical car. What would be the reason they shouldn't be lumped together? I am only asking this because there are many model cars that span more than one year with the same engine, and those cars all have the same hp. The 67 and 68 Camaro 350 295 combo were both factored to 286 at the same time. Wouldn't that be the same thing? The 83 and 84 Mustang 302 175 combo were also both raised to 205 at the same time also. I think you will find its more common than you think.
