BTW, did you know the NHRA is considering an 8.60 class for a national championship? Apparently, they’re looking to tap into the very popular 8.50 index racers and the drag and drive folks.
No throttle stops or delay boxes. Basically, run what you bring as long as it’s a door car. You’d fit in nicely! |

I've since decided to leave 8.50 index to run the local Top Sportsman series. But that would be great if NHRA added a similar class.
