Billy has done the 72 307, which is a little different than a 69 307. The 230 isn’t too bad. I was able to go .50-60 under with good pistons, a good cam, and a good valve job. thanks Doug , i dont have a 6 cylinder yet but i do have the 307 and if i can come close to the index with a basic stocker deal and have something to work with thats fine , what im trying to figure is which one is a better starting point before i buy the 250.
