Default Re: JP1738's Stocker and S/G car

Get you a man who can do both! Class racing one weekend, outlaw small tire N/T the next! I'm headed to Pageland Dragway in Pageland, SC this weekend for a 5.90 index N/T shootout only for cars on 28/10.5s or smaller. Going to be a great time and should pay some good money! No buy-backs, no round money, winner take all! Picked up these used MT 28/10.5 slicks from a guy near Wilkesboro last week and got them mounted up on my beadlocks. Did a quick garage burnout to lose some of the feathering the tires had from the no preps the guy had run them in before I bought them.

I have to say, these tires and the compound they use for them are incredible. So much stick and grip they literally pulled up some of the concrete on the floor of the shop. If you've ever wondered how No-Prep tracks come around so fast, this is how. These tires are complete black magic and I would venture to say could hook on just about anything. Wish me luck!
