It was easier to order the correct type alternator than to fabricate a new mounting bracket. The new alternator is more than double the output of the old one. The wire from the battery to the alternator had to be enlarged a few sizes to carry the amp load. I hope the increased output may affect performance in a positive way due to higher voltage available at the injectors.
The more I learn the more I realize what I don?t know.
