Ken, he posted his harrowing challenge to get to Indy in time and I'm glad to see him in Virginia!
Ty Frank (for your concern when I had the truck trouble...after it hit the lift it was a complete wheel bearing failure front right, and took a total rebuild spindle and knuckle and rotor, I actually made it to Indy a day and a half late, was stacked w/ 2 other Stockers outside the gate at 8:00 AM when they called Sockers to the lanes (thrashing to get ready to just change the 2 front wheels/tires after unloading...but made Q1 (-.690 under 121 Q position and knew it would not last through the much warmer Q2 session and the Q3 at 8:00 AM (C1), was going to at 51 degrees of temp was my last and best shot at making the field...as we reached the ready line, he started pulling us out behind the 2 cars staging....and I saw raindrops on the windshield and his stop signal and then red lights flashing on the tree, and they backed all 4 of us off...wiped the car down 3 times in 10 mins or more...then the sky started crying big drops and > knew the perfect weather I needed would never return.

Still had a good time at Indy...Both EF/S cars faced off later, and we both missed the BIG GO, BIG SHOW later...But my Nat. Record is still up, and I WILL RETURN TO INDY faster next year. I met a lot of the fastest slow car builders around....Billy, Brent, Ron, Claude and others.. great people!

I met Ken yesterday finally, Jim Marshall this morning (Met Pi and his Fast Copo with his .026 vs my uncharacteristically very late for me .045 at VMP yesterday too just before the skies opened up and it poured down rain again....he took me down by just about what I gave him at the tree...it was a good race he good by.008, me good by .005 and side by side, him a slight bit in front. My failure was not grabbing the coffee or soda and late afternoon racing.

Win or lose, I am travelling, and having the time of my life! This current trip is over 8K miles, and 50 days...only 1 (maybe an early Thanksgiving dinner w/familly as racing in Vegas again that week), weekend off between time I left home, to Dec 1, 2025...and coast-to-coast. class racing and brackets combined.

And I have the best and most supportive wife in the world...I love you Celeste!

Like Jim Marshall said this morning...We aren't getting any younger Gary..though it makes me feel younger to stay this busy having fun!
