Your post that this was going to be a very good show was the understatment of the year. This was a magnificant show. All of the historic mopars on display and running down the track. There was a constant reunion around the McCandless Demon. Many faces from the history of Super Stock and Pro Stock drag racing was at Piedmont Dragway. ( Note: there are, already, lots of photos posted over on the "Moparts" web page)

Herb Jr. it was a good time for everyone who attended. All of the events that you folks had set up were a lot of fun. All of those historic Mopars rolling out on the the track and the parade down the track. There were so many things going against you guys, the weather forecast, the weather, the gas shortages and still you guys put on a good show.

And of course, the racing was good. Your track personnel are to be commended for there efforts to keep the racing going. The track was prepped and re-prepped so many time due to rain. It would rain on one part of the track and not another. Then it would rain on all of the track.

We had a good time and already looking forward to next year.
