I built a 405 cube engine using a set of Brodix raised runner/spread port-10's that were WeldTech ported. That engine was very strong. I built a similar sized engine years later using -12's with very large intake runners. It never ran up to expectations. I have an engine in my garage now that is a pretty strong running 400 and it has ProAction 220 aluminum heads on it. I also built a 375 cube engine using AFR 220's and ported them myself. That engine ran 9.00 at 150 in an early Camaro with a Ron's toilet. That car was pretty light......
