My 2 cents....you need 1& 1/2 stepped to 1&5/8 headers..call ATI for a converter (your running a powerglide right?) you'll need at leats 250 deration @ .050 (if it were me run solid lifter their cheaper! ) find one that has .450 lift this will work good and give ya piston clearance...and I would put a 4.88 gear in it with a 28" tire. P.S. if your runnig a glide you'll need at least a 1.94 low gear...2.08 would be better. Good Luck!!
