Default New Camaro & Mustang bodies

Now they make '69 Camaro convertible and hardtop and '67 Mustang FB bodies. '68-'72 Nova's are on the way and Chevelles are probably around the corner along with E-body Mopars. $15K may sound like a lot but I can't think of a better platform for a Stock or even Super Stock. The articles say better tolerances and better welds than factory ever had. I would bet they are lighter also.
I remeber Tim Frisbee ran a SS/HA '68 Camaro. It was a former Jeff Lane Car as I recall, been a race car all of it's life. Tim rolled it with no damage to the chassis or cage. Found a straight un-abused '68 Camaro with low street miles, did a body swap and proceeded to pick up an honest tenth.
I think it's a good thing for the Class if anybody is doing one. You get all new metal, a clean foundation to work on and you're not "ruining" a classic. I wish they made the '70 AMX!
Wonder if GM or Ford will give out any as a New-old-stock (NOS) "body in white?
