When the Coyote Stock crate motor class was announced a few years ago, I priced out a new sealed crate 5.0 and then added up what it would take to build a competitive Coyote Stock car. (rolling chassis plus C-4 trans, special Coyote Fox headers, lightweight front suspension, etc.)
It was north of $ 22,000.
Instead of building the C/S car, I ended up buying a turn key Stocker for less than half that.
No regrets.
