I just thought of another Pontiac that used Ellison.
The last name was Olson. He said that he helped Truman with his car, then built his own Pontiac Stocker, after Truman moved. Said he had a lot of help from Ellison.
I think he posted on my Pontiac Stocker thread. Don't know if I can find it or not. I'll do a little searching & see.
Only have one pic, & it's pretty fuzzy
OK, here it is.

In the 2nd pic below, I think that's Tom Olson standing by the car, with Truman. As you can see, they're both wearing Ellison T-shirts.
How bout another Pontiac ? In pic #3, I think this was Bob Michael. Said some kin of his sold that brand of insurance. I think it says Ellison over the rear wheel well. I assume the car in pic #5 is the same car.
Then of course most of Truman's cars would have used Ellison. That includes the '72 GTO he raced one season.
I've read that Truman also received a '72 Bird to race in Stock. But I've never seen a pic of it. So, I don't know if he ever actually got it, or not. Maybe he got it & it wasn't competitive under the '72 Stock rules. We do know that Truman ran his '68 Bird Stocker in '72. SO, I have no idea what happened to the '72 Bird.
