Multiple time MASGA Champion & D1 Lucas oil Super Gas winner Earl Nichols Jr. took home the TAD win today at Charlotte driving the Samsel Dragster. Earl took it to the #2 qualifying spot and semis at Maple Grove and the team said, let's roll to Charlotte and see what we can do. He qualified #1 and took it all the way to the winner circle!

A quick story about Earl, when my dog passed in July, Earl took care of the cremation as not only is he a painter, he's also a licensed mortician. When I went to pick up the ashes, I was leaving to go to Numidia for the D1 race. Earl sat down and had a 2-hour pep talk with me about my driving and what plans he had for the future. He told me that I should call him from the winner circle on Sunday...fast forward to Sunday and we parked it into the winner circle. It was that talk that got me to where I needed to be and glad to see Earl live his dream out with a TAD win....now go get the Vette ready....lol!
