Smart move to head out to California with a 225 Slant-6.
You can't kill those things.
I bet if you put the 6-banger in the Challenger, (as is after the California tow trip)), run SS/X,Y or Z, you probably would have set the record.
Not too many sold cars got the 'secret' motor and transmissions!

On the 68' Winternationals. I think the SS/EA record was a soft 12.20 or so, set by either a 67' GTX 440/375HP or 67' Camaro 396/325HP in
late 67'. The 68 GSS 440 Dart ran pretty much 12.00's throughout, but I'll check it for you.
