Default Re: Dominator Disasters

I have run at least 3 different 9375's on various BB Chevy engines and never had many problems...

A Davinci ran cleaner at idle and around the pits but was NO faster on the racetrack than a stock 9375...

Jetting should be around 92 square and they have no power valves. I've jetted them higher in good air but anything over a 95 jet is not going to flow more fuel due to issues in the carb. passages

I never had one with removable air bleeds and other than jetting and float levels they work well.

You can change the linkage on some to make them progressive and that's how I ran them....

With proper gaskets, good floats and adjusted right they are good for any single carb fairly big cube engine making a lot of power...700-800 or more.

I have a 3 circuit 1050 carb on my present dragster and it is an annular booster carb just like a 9375....

Don't go down the 2 circuit vs 3 circuit rabbit hole.....The 3 circuit can work fine....You can obviously find guys that do endless modifications since there are many carb "gurus' out there but it's always hit and miss with many of them...….Holley built good carbs and unless its damaged putting them fairly close to how they were built usually works best for me...…
