Default No class wins in charlotte!!!

I have been told that there will be no Class wins, Wally's or National Performers Award points given out in Charlotte! To hold back on the NPA points I could maybe see; however its only 85 points, they should just not give out the added point for the low qualifier or for running more than 5 rounds. The NPA is always gonna be a tie breaker of some sort, so you could withhold all "extra points" over 85 and only reward 1 round to the winners. Racers spend a lot of money to go class racing; therefore I understand it is not exactly the perfect results to give class wins to the lowest qualifier of each class and/or combo race; however I do believe that the racers still appreciate the acknowledgement for their hard work and the trophy regardless. I do not understand how NHRA is now making this decision when past years class wins have been given out under similar if not identical circumstances. Shame on NHRA making this decision without validation or further though, and God I hope it wasn't to save the $75/trophy!!!

UPDATE!!! NHRA somehow just reversed their decision and "found" the Wally's. They handed out trophies after 2nd round this morn! There is a God, lol!
