Add to that you cannot set the 1/8th mile e.t. and mph record at 1/4 mile divisional races. ( which I do not understand since you are driving right past the 1/8th mi. timers anyways)
National Opens are the way to go for record setters, but unfortunately for racers at Div. 3 1/4 mi. tracks, that only leaves one per year now
