It ain't for everybody, but some of us LOVE Cajun music and food. Although I live in North LA, we still have lots of crawfish boils, and I can buy my smoked Boudin at our local Wal-Mart.
We don't have a lot of live Cajun music up here, except for a few festivals. But, nowadays you can go online and listen to Cajun music, on hundreds of free music videos. So, for you folks who can't make it to Cajun country, you can listen anytime you want.

Marc & Ann Savoy are 2 of the big names in Cajun culture and music. Ann wrote a very popular book about it, and Marc is a very good Cajun musician, who builds Cajun accordions. They have a very good Cajun band, called the Savoy Family Band. Ann also got together with some other girls and formed the Magnolia Sisters band.
