Learned that William Wilson passed away. He raced a 1967 Z-28 in D/S. He purchased the car new. RIP Trail Boss. I don?t have any other details.

He bought the car at Jim Rathman Chevrolet in Melbourne Fl. where he worked, drove it home to Rockledge Fl. where he lived about 30 miles north. and parked it. Then he raced it after that. The car I'm talking about is the original car.

My memories about Whip's race cars, something happened to the original car in 70's if I remember correctly or he just decided to park it but he came down to Woodro Josey's and bought a Camaro stock eliminator roller, put his drive train in and as far as I know that was the car that he raced for years.
