Greenfield Dragway, July 6, 2025

Greg's Legacy Race Co-Sponsors: Strictly Hydraulics & Dairy Queen

The second race of the ACSSA Greg's Legacy Race Weekend double header was also blessed with sunny skies and great racing. Co-sponsored by Strictly Hydraulics and Dairy Queen, 17 entries made the call, with three additional entries sidelined for various reasons. Temperatures for Race 2 peaked in the high 80s, with a barometer in the 29.5 range and water grains as high as 85. The cars slowed accordingly, and once again Scott Underhill qualified #1, this time with a -1.19.
Kale Johnson battled through some overheating concerns to own our second Winner?s Circle of the young season, while Daniel Nickerson made his late-night transmission swap pay off with a Runner-Up finish. Daniel also earned the Bounty Hunter bonus when he defeated Race 1 Winner David Garland in Round 3. Kale Johnson also earned the Best Package payout, while David Garland earned the Best Reaction Time plaque. Well done to all! Here is a summary of the various winners:
