That little rib place in Manhatten had very good food & fast service( forgot the name) ,

Ninth Avenue between 45th and 60th has lots of good ethnic restaurants at reasonable prices if you are into that. Chris Mitsos will back me up on that opinion.

Yankee Stadium has beers for only $8.50 ($12.00 for a big Heneken) and a hot dog is $5 and thats from a vendor....better food is also available inside and not bad.......Tickets are always available on sites like Stub Hub.....

If you think Yankee Stadium is expensive, the Red Sox have been able to con its fans into paying $60 for a certain type of standing tickets (normally standing tickets range from $20-$30).

Dave it's July 22nd......Yankees are 1.5 games behind Boston and 4.5 behind Tampa Bay. Pitching is improved......Hitting is a little spotty and injuries plague the team but I am hopefull by Septemeber it will be a nice finish with some exciting games. My good friend and I might get in to see another game in September.....He went to college in Boston but is a big Yankee fan like me......The All Star game, HR Derby and parade in NYC was quite a show. I would really have loved to be there for the festivities.......A lot of great players on hand and they really did it up......It's tough to see some of the old guys in failing health........Time waits for no one......See ya soon Dave and best regards.....
