Default polishing carb venturi's

Has anyone polished their carb venturi's? Was it worth anything? and what did use use to polish them? Mostly talking about 4500 series holleys.

Thanks in advance for any replies and Happy Holidays
Henry

Henry, did you get the motor put back together?
Was it damaged very bad?
I know nothing about polishing the venturi's.

Block was broken in the main web area, crank broken, 4 pistons, rods bent, saved the oil pan. I ordered all the parts, should be here this week. I am trying to have everything ready by Phoenix National.

Saving the oil pan is not much, but better than nothing.
Good Luck with the rebuild.
I am ready to start putting the motor back in on mine after the freshening.
Hope to see you at Phoenix.
