Default Engine Diaper vs Exhaust Headers

Not sure if it has been mentioned on here before but it seems in most cases the diaper will touch a header tube on plenty of applications. Are these diapers burn proof?

I have one of these with the heat shield. It pretty much touches a couple of the primary tubes...with no problems ...
