There are only 6 days remaining to pre-enter the World Footbrake Challenge IV and save yourself $50 off the gate price. We realize that many of you are "on the fence" about attending and that is very understandable. This event requires both a healthy financial commitment and a strong willingness to compete against the best pure Footbrake racers in the United States. For those of you who have made that commitment, and to the rest of you that will, this event promises to not disappoint.
Thanks to Scott Lemen and DRR this year's WFC IV will be presented "LIVE" via audio, video, and live timing. I imagine there aren't many Footbrakers reading this who have had the opportunity to compete while their friends and family were able to watch from home. Also, there is a common misconception that to be successful at the WFC you must be .00x and dead-on every round. Hopefully this year's live timing will show everyone that this isn't necessarily the case. While these are the best pure Footbrakers in the country, and they lay down some great packages, they are still human. After having studied the run-sheets from the 1st three years of the WFC I feel very comfortable in saying that if you can regularly post reaction times in the .02x to .05x range you'll be very competitive to say the least. Jared and I both feel very fortunate to just be a part of this event. Where else can you watch a Footbrake race and the 1st four pair out are: Connecticut vs Florida, Texas vs New Jersey, Maryland vs Louisiana, Pennsylvania vs Mississippi and every round is just like that. This doesn't happen anywhere else besides the WFC and it's the coolest thing in the world to be a part of. Both Jared and myself can't thank all of you enough for continuing to support this event year after year and allow us the opportunity to witness it. If you'd like to enter the WFC IV you can do so by visiting http://www.worldfootbrakechallenge.com/enter.aspx or you can call 205-612-3502 or 662-837-8166. With a guaranteed purse, gorgeous facility, and the finest group of people (Footbrakers) anywhere in the world this is an event that you don't want to miss. Don't wait, enter today and come be a part of the fun! See you all in Bristol!!! |
