For all you .90 racin experts: 427 SBC in a nova runs 9.3 all out. Gonna do some S/G with an alky carb setup as follows: 54-5500 dead/down stall, shift .80 out, Tstop on @ .30 & off @ 2.5 to run close to 9.90 in 2-3000 ft DA. What kind of T/S timer ratio am I gonna end up with? was thinking around 5-6 to 1 with what testing I have done so far. Also any ideas on a good starting point for an air ratio? 60 ft repeats pretty good (about .010 swing all day) Thanks for any replies

Well Wayne, a couple of reasons, first, I'm just a little over a half of a second under so I dont have much to begin with and second, I want to shift into Hi right away for consistency which kills about .25 so now I'm barely .25 under and I really dont want to come off the stop in Lo for obvious reasons. I also dont want to run less than 1 second total timer cause that doesnt work well at all so thats what it takes me to run 9.9 with about 2.2 timer., 54-5500 rpm.
