K-Member on 4th Gen Camaro Super Stocker
Hey Guys,
Do you have any pictures or information as to what can be done to the K member on these cars for GT use? I currently have a tubular K member and lower control arms with an aftermarket rack. How much of a stock K member has to be used? Can I modify a stock one to use the aftermarket rack and pinion? Thanks, JP |

JP, you can modify the stock K member, that is what MPR did with my 95 firebird and the only thing left is a tubular mount for an aftermaket rack and pinion. the engine is set back so it has plenty of room to clear the box style oil pan and crank trigger...Luke SS 311

Somebody told me FJ Smith sold those parts modified in a "kit ". I would ask him. His stuff is very nice.
That tubular stuff you have now is not that much lighter anyway.
