Default BUDDY KING

It's with a very sad heart that I'm posting this. My Dad Buddy King 3210 Division 3 Stock and Super Stock driver passed away yesterday evening at the age of 78.
I had the greatest childhood growing up traveling to NHRA divisional and national events and standing on the starting line watching my Dad shifting gears and turning on many win lights. I'm so proud of what a great driver he was. After my Mom passed away in February 2021 my Dad asked me if he could start going to Church with me at Kingsway Christian Church in Avon Indiana so he could see my Mom again in Heaven someday.
I became even more proud of him on July 15th 2021 when he repented of his sins and accepted JESUS as his Lord and Savior and was Baptized.
Thank you, in advance for your thoughts and prayers.
Johnny King

Sorry for your loss, but what a great story. You have a lot to be proud of.

R.I.P Buddy and you will see him and your mom again when you pass from this world and join them in Heaven.

So sorry to hear this Johnny. He was a great man and even better racer. When my father passed away when I was 21, Buddy, Fred Burris, Bobby Black, and Ken Hutchinson took me in and helped me tremendously. I will forever be thankful for all their help, without them I could have never continued racing stock eliminator. We sure had a lot of fun.

Johnny we pray for you and the family. That is so awesome that he received Christ, my father passed away in April of 2023, I spoke with him the day before he passed and he had accepted Christ. Brother what a victory to know that we will see our Dad's again! Lifting you up in our prayers!

So sorry to hear of Buddy's passing. He and the rest of the "Indiana bunch", as we called them, were a big part the fun of going to Indy every year. Buddy, Ken, Fred and Bobby were so welcoming and full of stories. Lots of good memories. Now we are brothers of the same Father, and what a day it will be.
