The Mid Atlantic Super Gas Assoc. will hit the mid point of it's season on July 12th & 13th at Maple Grove Raceway in Reading, Pa. George Smith and his "Live Wire" Camaro takes a 11 point lead into race #5 over 2007 series champion Iggie Boicesco. Following Smith and Boicesco is Don Knoblick, Pete Luciano and Matt Schurman. Gates will open at 9am on Saturday with time shots beginning at 10am. On Sunday gates open at 8am with time shots starting at 9am. On Saturday we will be running with the Money Trail series so anyone wishing to double up is more then welcomed to do both. On Sunday will be "Super Shootout Sunday" as we join the East Coast Stock/Super Stock Series along with some other special events. As always Saturday night will be the "Racers BBQ" and anyone who shows up for Saturday's event is more then welcomed to come join in on the fun. As far as entry fee's goes it is still $70.00 each day to race but as far as track fee Leanne will have to post the amount on the webpage or on here once she get's word from Lucky. Hope to see everyone there....

Hey everyone,
Just got off the phone with Lucky, the gate fee for this weekend will be $25.00 plus crew if you have any plus the $70.00 paid to Leanne or Lucky. So for $190.00 you get a shot at 2 races ($1,000.00 to the winner based on 32 cars both days) and a free BBQ on Saturday night. How can you go wrong..... Rob |

Results from Maple Grove Raceway (July 12th & 13th)
Saturday July 12th Winner: Mike Lauria Runner Up: Pete "Lucky" Luciano Semi's: Don Knoblick Sunday July 13th Winner: Iggie Boicesco Runner Up: Hank Smith Semi's: Rory Krupp Overall it was a great weekend, we had great weather and a good turnout. 22 Cars made the call for 1st round on Saturday including some newcomers to the MASGA series. A big thank you to Mrs Lucky for cooking some great food and to everyone else who supplied items to the BBQ. Sunday we had 21 cars make the call for 1st round, we lost 3 cars overnight but gained 2 in the process. Finally a BIG THANK YOU goes out to Lex and his crew from Maple Grove who treated us like we were professionals. How many times have you ever seen a track crew, scrape, drag, sweep and glue a racetrack before EVERY session of S/G went down the track. It was truly a FIRST CLASS SHOW that Lex and his crew put on for the S/G guys this weekend. The track was in great shape and only one minor issue came across the whole weekend. From talking to some of the racers at the track they said the track was smooth, had good traction and they have never seen Maple Grove in such good shape. Rob Keister #1198 S/G |

Yes, that track was verrrry glued. So glued in fact that Leanne was bringing me into the water and broke her flip flop when it got stuck to the ground. (Yeah, I owe ya new ones, girl.) I never laughed that hard while doing a burnout. Lex and the crew did a great job keeping that track great all day long.
It was a great race and I had a great time. Can't wait til Cecil ![]() Kelli 1236 S/ST 1836 S/G
