Metric V6?

Just curious, is a Chevy 229 or a Buick based 231 a better V6 as far as power potential? I see the HP is higher on the 229. Are these motors in a G-body a decent combo to consider? Maybe in a 4dr or wagon?

Don't for get the 262 (4.3L) TBI in a monte carlo or el camino. Rated at 160 hp or something. They should be rated around 180 to 185 hp. Both are KILLER combinations for the lower classes.
