You MIGHT make enough to buy gas for your tow vehicle. In Div 3 it's 800. to win 400. for RU

here in div. 2 we get $800 to win ($400 r/u, i think), and dont count on the contingency, only the real good companies will pay that out, but they are out there.. i have been racing div. 2 for 20yr. and have met some of the best people you will ever find, even stock and super stock hahahaha....div.1 guys are weird they talk funny..NHRA could be a great org.. we need new leadership oh got carried away there. but we all hope it gets better,SOON..(im being politicly correct here)..
You have two good old boys in Slapout, Clarence Woodham, Steve Grace ... Steve is ok, Clarence is outthere........ we have a outlaw super street assn. you can race with us, get in touch with me at ..... outlawsstassn@aol.com..... we will be racing at SGMP Sept. 26-27 its a two day race so you can win two times (ask mike the snake) look at there web site. $50 entry, payout is based on car count.the last race we had 25 cars. it was hot but every one had fun, we also do not have a weight limit so S/G and S/Pro cars can race with us......(come on in the water fine)hahaha.

To answer your question,i averaged about $3000 on div wins, but you need to have the right products/decals on your car...dans right, dont hold your breath waiting for contingency checks.the outlaw s/st assoc.is a good way to go its 100% payback and they have a points fund, but the best part is the people you meet at these races

It doesn't get any better than running S/ST with these folks. They are the greatest and you won't find a way to have more fun racing than running 10.90 in the Southeast. Dan is right about the new association as it's going to give us another place to "do our thing".

Silver Dollar always pays S/ST the same as S/G at the LODRS event, $1000 to win and $500 R/U. We don't view S/ST as "entry level". If that's the case I guess I've been "entering" for twenty-six years now.

I won a divisional 3-4 years ago. I had a lot of contengency, and I only cleared around $2200 if I remember correctly. That was when there was MUCH more companies offering it. There are much less now.
I remember thinking how I walked away with around $2200 for a win, and when I runner upped at a Super Chevy event, I got $3000 plus another $200 for a couple of cont.
But the WALLY, is PRICELESS!!!!!
