O.K. Thanks! Seems that I remember the car being featured in a magazine, maybe SS&DI? Anyway, that was a while ago and I may be a little fuzzy on the details.

Musser Bros raced an early Corvette around 1966....
I think it was a '61 with a 283 and maybe F.I. and ran C/S
It was the same car raced by Carmen Rotunda a couple years later.
It ran H/S in 1970 and was driven by Tony Festa and was still out of Rotunda's Speed Shop.

Well at least thats how I remember it anyway.....and after this many years I might not have it right...

Tony Festa worked for Carmen he sold the vette to Tony but Carmen still drove it. Tony told me he would come into work on monday the truck and vette would be gone off to a race with Carmen.

283's had so many engine options in the early cars.....made it easy to change classes.....

Change the intake and carb(s)....change the cam..... soild or hyd. and than there was F.I. for those that could manage one....and tune it.....

Carmen and Dominick were often racing at Island with the Vette and were regular winners......It was a nice car....Green with Chrome wheels...
