If I can get the trans back in my car and test without issues I plan on running the Nationals. Of course I planned to be at Norwalk this weekend but that didn't work out....

I would like to go but they have not sent me my membership and permanent number info. If that happens in time I will be there.

I dont think they will turn you away if you have already sent money for a member ship etc.

This is how I feel on the whole Columbus deal being it's under new ownership and there appears to be a lack of information about this event out there except the payout of the classes, from what I can find.

1) I would have to renew my IHRA license.
2) Would need an IHRA number according to them.
3) If I couldn't get the same # that's on my car now that doesn't work for me.

With that being said, why don't they wave the IHRA license & number for this first event if you're an NHRA member for the folks that's kind of on the fence about running this race? Maybe it could help just to get the car count up if anything?

I might find that I don't really care for the way it's ran, or I might before I invest. Just my take.

How about we support them and give them a reason to keep working on it. Then maybe it would force NHRA to step up and fix the way they operate. They still have details to figure out but let?s hope the trend is improve and hopefully there is no AFHS and we can run all out.

I got a call from Allison today at IHRA. Her phone number is 513-939-8340. She told me that all PRO/AM racers "ClassRacers" are in the Que and will have their permanent numbers ready for the National Trail Raceway nation event.

You all can call her and get validation.

In years past when we ran the president?s cup at MIR, I don?t remember having to join IHRA as long as you were an NHRA member? There is a race in August at MIR just wondering if you have to join ihra in order to run that event??

Mike, If you signed up online and paid, go to the membership portal and you will see an electronic copy of your membership and license. If you mailed it in , give them a few days to process it and check online or call them. I spoke to Rachel at IHRA and she was very helpful.
