Default Front spoiler

I have a 70 chevelle super street car. I was wondering if anyone has tried a front spoiler and if so was there any speed increase. The car runs about 140 now

Cleaning up the air in front of the car almost always helps , but a lot of times the increase in speed is caused by the change in overhang in front of the wheels picking up the trap lights differently.
It can also play hell with driving the stripe if its above the beams until you drop the nose.
You drop the car and it goes quicker !
Ask any Stocker with a 4th gen Camaro about that one.

I can definitely vouch for Tom's statement about a late model Camaro or Firebird dropping the nose and going quicker....had it happen twice and it cost me the rd win both times...

Anything hanging out front that is low can cause this issue to pop up...
