Re: AHRA To Include Stock & Super Stock
The way NHRA treats us and IHRA's infrastructure is collapsing they just might start to suck up tracks, with the right leadership, read $$$$$$$$.

Re: AHRA To Include Stock & Super Stock
I see their rules page is under construction,,but I'd love to see them open the can of worms and add one little sentence to the rules for Pro Stock,," Fuel injection allowed". I bet the technology would really take off then. My 2 cents...........Danny Durham

Re: AHRA To Include Stock & Super Stock
Although the IHRA situation is looking pitiful, listening to Steve Earwood's take it may turn out to be a boon for sportsman drag racing. And I agree about leadership. They seem to be open for racer input and the timing of this is a good hint it's possible. It's similar to the original AHRA mission back in the 60s. Only this time I hope they deliver the death blow to Glendora Inc. The climate couldn't be better.

Re: AHRA To Include Stock & Super Stock
They have Tom Kreiger working for them. That's good.
The problem I see is WAY too many classes. K.I.S.S. Chip |

Re: AHRA To Include Stock & Super Stock
I agree. In the early days they had way too many classes, everybody tried to crawl off into a class by themselves. At national events guys changed classes like crazy to get away from somebody faster, to try to win class. Most all of them were extremely slow. NHRA has too many now, just not as bad as AHRA was. They probably won't have heads-up races either. Just more bracket racing.
