Re: contingency
Last year NHRA didn't release the list until the 3rd week of Jan (based on date I imported the excel file) so expect something to be up soon....interesting to see this year what they do with the Class contingency program....it obviously needed tweaking after last year (right MOPAR?)

Re: contingency
I received a check today for a win in June of 2011.
from Magna Fuel for my pump.THANK YOU!!! I think I'm going to start my own way for contingency payment. It will go like this... If I win or R/U at a National or Divisional I will claim ONLY the things I have on my car that you can easily see. Then.. If the companies that I claim and, that you could see, I did, indeed use there product. I WILL THEN RUN THE DECAL FOR THAT COMPANY . That way when you see a decal on my car,(or yours) you know they DO PAY and the stuff they are selling is good and proven! What do ya'all think about that? Maybe we all start the year with a naked car and send em' a statement! (KINDA' RADICAL I KNOW but that's OK, Its just an Idea) Thanks again Magna Fuel!!!!! Glen DeMenge |

Re: contingency
Glen,
Thats what I have done. If they do not pay or require me to buy a new (water pump, starter, etc.) item every two years, no sticker. So that being said and the fact that my car has a stick, I do not have many stickers. Dirk

Re: contingency
A list of non-paying contigency sponsors would help guys determine who's decals to bother with.

Re: contingency
I am still waiting, certainly not holding my breath, for contingency payments for 2010 and 2011. In 2011, Columbus Sports Nationals was supposed to pay regular contingency. A few paid, and many did not.
Chrysler, VIP and Moser paid Even the payments for the new Class Performers Awards are not complete yet, and that one was supposed to be the big deal replacement for the race by race contingencies. Chrysler, VP, Comp Cams and Moser paid here too. Apparently it all works just the same.. Some pay, and some don't pay. A lot of decals are coming off of my car.
