Dutch Weather and a Few Questions
Forgive me for asking basic questions but I like to learn a lot about what I'm watching.
1. The forecast for the Dutch Classic looks stellar at the moment. For Thursday and Friday morning in particular, I see maybe 50 degrees, 30.2 in Hg with a dewpoint of 35. Correct me if I'm wrong but with those numbers and the track at 548 feet above sea level, that's a DA of roughly -150. About right? 2. And on the schedule those days, I see "record runs". Is that the time you guys shoot for the National record in your classes? If so, will the conditions be good enough to have a shot? 3. During time trials, I sometimes see guys lift late in the pass in Stk and SS. Why do that during TT's? 4. I've also seen "no clean ups" on the schedule. What does that mean? Again, sorry for the basic questions but we love watching you guys and like to learn more. |

Re: Dutch Weather and a Few Questions
2. Record runs are exactly what you thought.... we go out and try to set and than back it up. And the weather is perfect for just that!
3. Everyone is different, but most do it to 1000' because they can tell a lot from that. They also don't want everyone to know what they are doing. 4. means that if you missed out, came late, or whatever you wont get a run..... im assuming that its for thursday
