"mikronite"
I want to "mikronite" some parts: ring/pinion, springs, etc. I remember another Co.
that does this, but I lost their card. I think it was "...Finished..." or something like that. Any input would be helpful. Thanks. |

Re: "mikronite"
In the interest of fair reporting I have to say that we had the ring and pinions done in all 3 of our cars and the looked great for awahile but then they all had to be replaced. We had to replace the gears in both camaros @ Reading. The problem seems to be that gears will not hold enough fluid(especially synthetic) to cushion the gears from the violent life of 3400+ rpm launches with 3000+ lb cars. All our cars use 12 bolt chev. The Camaros 5:86 the Olds 6:00. We have gone away from the micronite with the rear gears but use it on other parts. We also have gone away from any syn. gear lube with no further failures.
