Hot Rod HIGH ROLLER Race?
I'm toying with the idea of running a non-points HIGH ROLLER event...probably near the end of the 2009 season...Here's how it could work:
$300 entry Win first round and get your entry back ...then winner takes all the rest Max 32 car field Full field would mean $4800 to the winner! WOULD YOU PARTICIPATE?

Re: Hot Rod HIGH ROLLER Race?
Ted- Great idea! I voted possibly only because my schedule would only allow me to attend in july depending on where you decide to have this event. Keep me posted!

Re: Hot Rod HIGH ROLLER Race?
Ted,
Great idea. 32 cars at that cost maybe tough. 24 cars at $200 or $250 maybe a better shot at success. I don't think the amount of cash at $4800 will bring in more cars than a chance at let's say $2500. Either way the series in heading in the right direction. |

Re: Hot Rod HIGH ROLLER Race?
Hey Ted,
Great idea, I would race it, probably find people to enter our other two cars as well. lol My only suggestion would be same entry fee, but give the winner $4000, runner up $500, and two semis $150 each For a 32 car $4000 to win race, a $300 entry fee is not to bad. The bonus is if you make it to the semi's or finals and lose you still take home some cash which is nice. Just my thoughts, but I like the idea in general. Thanks, Andrew S |

Re: Hot Rod HIGH ROLLER Race?
Once we set a date, we'll take pre-registration money starting at the first race. If we don't have enough cars to make it worthwhile, we'll refund everyone's entry....stay tuned...

Re: Hot Rod HIGH ROLLER Race?
No weight break and left-hand steer roadsters are allowed...otherwise, it's by the rulebook...
