OK I need some opinions,or what you are running for carb jets.
Motor is a 468, 13 to 1 compression, 714/714 Lift roller, BB 2 Plus heads, Team G intake, Quick fuel 1050 carb. I changed the plugs tonight and they were a little whitish, I have 92 square in it now. I guess I'll need to go to 94 square or higher? any comment will be apperciated. Cal HR 177X |

When I ran a Dominator, seemed like the 92 range was good for most smaller BBC's like yours...Maybe invest in an EGT so you can see a little closer, but you should be very close...

Another important part of jetting is what the adjusted altitude you are running at is and what squirter you use.
You can run a leaner jet and use a bigger squirter to keep it from stumbling at the starting line but you may still be lean on the big end. Consider more than jet size alone. My 2 Cents Rick Cates |
