CCRA race #5 @ Darlington

Coming up next Saturday, October 27th--CCRA Race #5 at Darlington Dragway sponsored by Phillips Auto Body out of Lumberton, NC--stock racers Missy & Cody Phillips--Gates open at 11 a.m.--Time runs at 1 p.m.--all CCRA racers will need to fill out their tech cards & carry to the tech building/fuel house--also any crew member with you that will be going on the track will need to go there as well to get an armband to go on track--there will also be a bracket race at this event if anyone is interested in entering--more information on their website at www.darlingtondragway.com

Is this race going to be a 1/4 mile or 1/8 mile?

As of 4:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon, the CCRA event at Darlington Dragway is STILL on schedule for tomorrow, Saturday, October 27th. There is only 20-30% chance of rain there all throughout the day & Ronnie (track owner) stated he could not cancel an event with that little percentage of rain. However if the event is cancelled for tomorrow, it will be run on Sunday. The event for Fayetteville on Sunday has been cancelled & moved to another date. More information on that will be on the CCRA #6 post.

Also, beginning with this weekend throughout the remainder of the season, CCRA t-shirts will be on sale for $10 each. I have some of all sizes available & we want to sell out of this season's shirts. We hope that we can maintain the same sponsors in 2013 as well as add some new ones so the 2012 t-shirts need to go. Not to mention that t-shirts sales goes towards the championship points fund too!!
