My road runner was prepped in his shop back in the mid 70s, long before I got it.

One thing you don't want to do, is confuse a car built by Arlen to one built in his shop. Very workmanlike, I guess is the right way to say it.

Yes, it was built as if it was a hemi car, with a 5.13 and tall tires, but running a 440. It's an original 69-1/2 car. They treated the factory stamping lines as if they meant cut here. I'll just say they went too far and leave it at that.

I didn't scale it before I disassembled it but I should have. It had a big old heavy bar in it though.

I know Don won the 69 Winternationals Super Stock Eliminator. My guess would be that he won Class as well.

I think the was the first one to get the "J" converter and he dominated the race.

The cuda with the super tricks and drag 500's looks great when I was young always wanted a drag car with a pair of drag 500's but they stopped making em before I got a car.
