From what I understand they are a spin off of QA1, some guys who left there, or got laid off. I've heard good things about them, but currently we don't sell them. I do plan on talking to them and possibly carrying their products.

this thread motivated me to talk to the good folks at Viking Shocks, and I'm excited to announce that we are now a dealer for them. I'd be happy to get you a price if you'll give me an application or dimensions for what you need.

If all (or most of) the parts come from China (or over seas) but are assembled in the US, can you say it is "Made in the USA"? Just wondering outloud.

A lot of companies do. Some of the offshore stuff is junk, some of it's not. Remember iPhones are made in China too.

FYI:
The Standard For Unqualified Made In USA Claims What is the standard for a product to be called Made in USA without qualification? For a product to be called Made in USA, or claimed to be of domestic origin without qualifications or limits on the claim, the product must be "all or virtually all" made in the U.S. The term "United States," as referred to in the Enforcement Policy Statement, includes the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. territories and possessions. What does "all or virtually all" mean? "All or virtually all" means that all significant parts and processing that go into the product must be of U.S. origin. That is, the product should contain no — or negligible — foreign content. |
