Live From Pomona World Finals
Ok. Finally have (hopefully) the internet working! Sitting in the stacking line #90. They were supposed to start moving at 10 but nothing moving as of yet. I see by the schedule that we get 3 qualifying runs on Thursday. With the cooler temps I'm sure there's going to be a few cars under one second under. On a side note looking forward to after the races getting some new Lamb brakes on the Nova at Phil Mandella's shop getting rid of the brakes I have now. A well overdue upgrade. I'll hopefully get some pictures after we're all pitted.

Re: Live From Pomona World Finals
Bob, Thanks for the update's from the track, Much appreciated . I'm curious about your brake deal. In a different thread on here, brakes were discussed. The consensus seemed to be that drum brakes hold better on the line. As such, I scoured E-bay till I found a set of Drum spindles, drums & backing plates for my Cougar..I'm assuming your putting 4 wheel disc's on @ Mandella's. I'm just curious the advantage the disc's will bring to your car.

Less rotating mass and less unsprung weight.

Re: Live From Pomona World Finals
Actually the reason I'm changing my brakes to Lamb's are because my current 4 wheel disc are not very good and after driving my wife's car with Lamb's there's no comparison.
Jerry Hatch Bobby DeArmond Doug Gibson MaryAnn Method Charlene Gullett My bucket of bolts And yes Redman is in the house!
