It appears that the IHRA hasn't totally separated the Professional classes from the Pro-Am racers. The first two events on the Division 4 schedule are doubles, with an IHRA Drag Racing Series race on Saturday, which includes the Pro-Am classes, and a Sunday Pro-Am only event. There is also a "wild-card" Pro-Am weekend scheduled for May 27-29 at Memphis Int'l Raceway.
More information here - http://www.ihra.com/pro-am-tour-news...-tour-schedule One down - five(?) to go?

Thanks, Rob!!
Looks like three weekends in-a-row in February for Division 2! ![]() Division 9 gets a double at Budd's Creek, which we didn't have last year! Now let's see what the Division 1 schedule looks like for the rest of the season. The drama continues!

Lew,
If I had to put cash on it, the MIR & Pittsburgh races will also be a D1 races. Just trying to get more participation by inviting D9 and D3 to it. You know Richmond Dragway & Empire will have one because the car counts are usually pretty good for those events. I Wouldn't be surprised to see Delmar or Capitol get one this year because both tracks have been doing very well on the bracket racing scene lately. |
