The Milodon 30401 is a copy of the 6 qt Chevy Corvette SBC oil pan. 5 in the pan and 1 in the filter.
Moroso has an equivalent to the pan under P/N 20180 and it is also NHRA approved. Both pans have been approved as a replacement to the OEM 5 qt oil pan. Should NHRA ban the use of oil accumulators too? |

After you guys figure out the oil pan you may want to look into how 396/375 Camaros (just one popular example we all know there’s many more

Since the oil pans are allowed to be bigger two or three quarts, it would probably be ok to increase runner volume 25cc or valve size .040 on diameter, or make the head 10cc smaller.

The truth is that having a bigger pan does not mean you will be gaining additional power. You make more power by controlling the movement of the oil inside the pan and diminishing windage.
