Flush
What is the best method for flushing the cooling system at home? Trans builder said to flush the system after finding debris in my trans.

I don't know if this is good or bad, but historically, I've just sprayed a bunch of brake clean through the lines and blown them out with an air hose. Makes a mess but gets the job done.

A plate and fin type cooler should be replaced, tube style can be flushed. Either one, WAY cheaper than another trans rebuild because of recirculated trash.
