Too cool...

Now, all we need is a photo of Judd's Speed Shop 1970/71 Buick Gran Sport...err...I mean, Buick Skylark, Pro Stocker.

Ah, here it is...

"Just a little history I found out about the Judd's pro stocker car.

I know some people were asking what ever happened to it.

Well, the motor is still in one piece and is explained to me exactly like how Tom explains it here http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.ph...light=judd%27s

The person that bought the car he believes in around 1979 from the Judd's...well sort of didn't get the whole car. He does have the front fiberglass clip off it and the motor still together with everything how Tom explaines it. It never had the prostock or tunnel port heads nor 4-bolt block.

When he wanted to buy the car the Judd's said it was so weak from the original acid dipping that if they lifted it, it would just crumble. They said they had the frame and body acid dipped but did not put paint on the underside and did not neutralize the acid, so it kept eating away. So they decided to sell the motor and hemi 4 speed and front clip to him. The rest was scrapped.

So there you have it...no more car, but the original front clip and engine is still around."

Slightly off topic but, is there a link to any pics of the Reher Morrison Monza that they raced in 1976 ? I have seen the same 2 or 3 pics that are on the RM site, but I want more. Does anyone have any pics of the crashed Monza from Etown that year 1976 ? Any links to old magazine coverage of the Monza they started P/S in. I do already have the June 1976 Car Craft magazine ,still looking for more info ...
Thanks,
Proud RMS fan and Monza drag racer.
