IHRA to have event at west palm in January

Pretty smart purchase I would say.. I bet bunch if the Nhra guys will use that for a test session like the old warmup events back in the day..

While I have not seen track announcements they have posted dates for 2026.

2026 IHRA Schedule:

March 4-7.
April 9?12.
April 21?24.
May 13?16.
June 17?20.
July 8?11.
August 12?15.
September 9?12

They have a whole lot of money and they are sure burning through it.

I have not looked at the numbers but my understanding is that it is very profitable.

We need to support the IHRA race at Galot Nov. 5-8 big time ! For those of you who have never been, although it's an 1/8 mile facility this is one of the nicest tracks of the south and worth checking out. We usually always have 80+ stockers and 60+ SS at Rockingham so this should be a no brainer and the payout is much higher ! We all need to make the IHRA alternative successful !

The last pictures I have seen of the Palm beach track it would take a monumental effort to have it race ready for a race in January. I raced there at the last IHRA pro am race. None of the electronics were working and they refunded our entry fees and canceled the race. That was about 5 years ago. Bradenton bought the stands. The tower is in ruins. The new owner of IHRA seems to have deep pockets so it might be a possibility. I live in Florida so I would go if it happens.

Look at what was accomplished in Michigan in not a lot of time. January is still quite a bit in the future.
