NHRA 8.60 index class?

Has anyone heard if this class is actually going to happen this year?

I was speaking with Lonnie Grim at PRI last month and he mentioned it was on the radar for adding it this year.
8.60 index. No throttle stops. No delay box. Basically if you can run 8.60 in a door car, this class is for you.

My car fits this class. I’m pretty excited about it and will be at every event in D1 that has it, provided my work schedule allows.
